Collagen itself is an animal protein, so a vegan product cannot contain collagen. Vollagen® takes a different approach: it is a blend of the 18 amino acids that make up human collagen, in the same ratio, produced from plant sources. We have combined it with hyaluronic acid, D-biotin, PureSea® organic Scottish seaweed (a natural source of iodine), and vitamins C and E.
